There have been several rumors about the next generation of Apple’s smallest tablet called the iPad mini, and rumors suggest that the tech giant intends to offer remarkable hardware specifications in this product. Apple Insider reports , citing Digitimes sources in Apple’s supply chain, that the sixth generation of the iPad mini will likely be equipped with a mini-LED display .

Digitimes notes that Apple’s manufacturing partners are working to make the mini-LED backlight units compatible with the next-generation MacBook Pro and iPad mini available to Apple. Radiant Optoelectronics is said to be delivering mini-LED shipments to the Cupertinos in the third quarter of this year as logistics problems improve.

Mini-LED backlit displays offer better contrast, higher brightness levels and improved depth of dark colors compared to traditional models. Earlier  , Apple product analyst Ming Chi Koo had previously reported that the iPad mini will be equipped with a mini-LED display, which could add to the accuracy of the new report. It is believed that one of the main features of the next iPad mini will be the use of the A15 chip; The chip is expected to be used for the first time in the iPhone 13 series later this year. The A15 chip will likely be produced by TSMC, Apple’s longtime business partner TSMC.

According to previous reports, the iPad mini 6 will be redesigned for the first time in this family of Apple tablets, and apparently the tech giant, in line with the design language of its recent products, intends to decorate the iPad mini with display and flat edges, and after years the Home button.
