Xiaomi 12 and 12 Peru priced for international markets
The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Peru are expected to launch in international markets on March 15 (March 24, 1400).
The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro handsets were introduced to the Chinese market in December 2021 (December 1400) and are said to be available for international markets in late March.
A new report from GSOSA ARNA reveals new information about the exact European prices of these two phones. Accordingly, the Xiaomi 12 will be priced at € 899 The Xiaomi 12 Pro will be priced at € 1099.
It goes without saying that these prices are for base models and will cost more to access more RAM or storage. Interestingly, the base price of the Xiaomi 12 is about 50 euros more than the Galaxy S22 and on the other hand the 12 Pro is 50 euros more expensive than the Galaxy S22 Plus .
This seems to indicate that Xiaomi’s main brand wants to abandon its low-cost handsets and leave the market to Poco and Redmi and fully synchronize with high-end handsets. Finally, it remains to be seen whether this strategy will be successful.
