Microsoft today released a new update to the Office app on the  iPad that adds mouse and trackpad support. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced the release of this update, and now we see that iPad users can get the relevant update via Appostor for Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

If you use the Apple Magic Keyboard , from today you can upgrade to the latest version of Office, using the trackpad in the Office applications environment to select text, select images and fonts, and so on.

Like other iPad apps, the mouse cursor in the Office has an awareness environment; So depending on whether you select the text or resize the image, the mouse cursor adjusts to different modes.

In addition to the addition of mouse and trackpad support, Microsoft has updated parts of Office applications with Fluent Design elements to provide a more modern visual experience. Word, Excel and PowerPoint all host a fresh start page; Also, the top bar of the mentioned applications has a completely new design. The software giant plans to add multiplayer support to Excel in the future, along with improved submenus and offline support for files stored in the cloud.

If this update is not yet available to you, do not worry. The update will be available to all users by the end of this week, according to Microsoft.
