A series of independent tests show that Apple’s claims about the battery life of the  Apple AirPods Max  are true. Apple said at the unveiling of the AirPads Max that the headphones would last “up to 20 hours” when using active noise canceling (ANC) and ambient audio (Spatial Audio) capabilities. Studies now show that AirPads Max performs better in tests.

According  to 9to5Mac news agency , the experiments were performed by one of the design companies. The company has succeeded in producing a special charging base and has conducted experiments on AirPads Max in order to advertise it. The company says it fully charged the AirPads Max and then played the Global Top 100 music player continuously on Apple Music via iPhone. In this test, the headphone volume was set to 75% and the ability to actively remove noise was on. Apparently, under the described conditions, AirPads Max lasted about 22 hours.

According to the 9to5Mac website, it took more than an hour to reduce the battery of the AirPads Max from 100% to 99%. In the continuation of the chart related to the reduction of the battery charge percentage of AirPads Max, we see a more linear trend. However, in the final section, a pattern similar to the first section was observed again, with the explanation that the AirPads Max was able to continue to work for about an hour with a 1% battery charge. Keep in mind that this data is based on a battery indicator designed by Apple and may not show the exact battery percentage. Why Apple decided to display the headphone battery percentage this way is a question that needs to be discussed.

In addition, Apple claimed at the unveiling of the AirPads Max that if the product runs out of battery power, you can listen to music for 90 minutes with just five minutes of charging. Apparently, this claim of Apple is also true. 9to5Mac says that the base charging company of the AirPads Max charged exactly five minutes for exactly five minutes to test Apple claims that the battery was completely depleted. After that, the player of Apple’s top 100 world music players played music on the iPhone at 75% volume continuously. Under the described conditions, AirPads Max played 99 minutes of music.
