Apple has been developing the AirPad Max since 2016

Apple  is known for its long-term product development. The company has been developing augmented reality glasses and self-driving cars for several years; But so far none of them have been released to the market and Apple is still content with testing and error on these products at the laboratory level. According to Dinesh Dave , a former Apple engineer, the construction of the AirPad Max actually started 4 years ago.

In early 2018, Ming-Chi Koo released a note announcing the possibility of introducing Apple’s new headphones, and the first rumors and speculations about Apple’s headphones have been circulating ever since; But according to Dean Dave’s tweets, the AirPad Max development timeline seems to be much longer than previously thought.

Unfortunately these tweets were deleted after a while; But Ryan Jones , the developer of the Weather Line app, shared a screenshot of the tweets. In the tweets, referring to the AirPad Max announcement, Dave claims that Apple’s new headphones were his last non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before he left Apple, and that it has been almost 4 years. The NDA, as its name implies, is a legal contract or formal agreement entered into between companies or individuals for the purpose of protecting confidential information.

Apple unveiled the first generation of  AirPad wireless headphones four years ago at the iPhone 7 family launch event in December 2016. These headphones became very popular after a while; It currently has the best-selling brand of wireless headphones on the market. It is believed that one of the reasons for the launch of AirPad Max headphones is the brand’s marketing and the huge popularity among users.

Bloomberg analyst Mark Gorman had previously reported that Apple had tested at least two versions of the headset, and that the Cupertinoites expected two versions of the AirPad Max to be available; So, since only the high-end model was introduced, it is possible that next year Apple will introduce the controversial headphones at least at a more reasonable price.
