To date, Canon has not introduced a new camera for 2021, and instead has decided to do something different and interesting. According to Anget News Agency , Canon is helping to take photos of space in its new project. The camera giant has launched a new interactive website  that will allow you to use the  CE-SAT-1 satellite to carry out this project. Canon says the satellite is equipped with a model of 5D Mark III camera  that has undergone many changes. Through Canon’s new website, the user can capture simulated images of places like Dubai, New York and the Bahamas.

June 2017 (June and July 2017), Canon launched the small satellite CE-SAT-1, which is about the size of a barrel of alcoholic beverages. This satellite has a DSLR camera called EOS 5D Mark III, which is equipped with a 3,720 mm Casgreen telescope.

The Canon satellite orbits the Earth at 600 kilometers and offers a ground resolution of approximately 36 inches in three-by-two-mile frames. The world’s brightest satellite, WorldView-4, can reach 12 inches. The satellite also uses the PowerShot S110 to capture wider images.

The Canon interactive website allows you to capture the images you want from a variety of locations. Each image you capture also has position and height. The website uses pre-captured images; therefore, the image you capture is not vivid or unique.

CE-SAT-1 orbits the Earth at a speed of approximately 17,000 miles per hour (27,358 kilometers per hour), which means that it orbits the Earth about once every one and a half hours. In this situation, it is impossible to capture a live image. With pre-recorded images, Canon introduces you to the capabilities of the satellite and the image resolution of the camera on it.

Canon’s new website uses the voice of an astronaut named Marsha Evans , who describes the purpose and design of the satellite. CE-SAT-1 belongs to the category of microsatellites. These satellites are much smaller and cheaper than regular satellites, and Canon hopes to create a multibillion-dollar microsatellite-centric business by 2030.

After launching the CE-SAT-1 in 2017, Canon tried to launch the CE-SAT-1B last summer; But the Electron rocket exploded shortly after launch, destroying the CE-SAT-1B satellite.
