Sony, as previously announced with the release of the poster, held a ceremony a few hours ago to unveil the latest camera of the Alpha family. The new Alpha One mirrorless camera (Sony  Alpha 1) incorporates all of Sony’s advanced technologies and is equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor. Sony Alfa One camera captures still images at a maximum speed of 30 frames per second without facing the black screen and can record 8K videos.

As mentioned, Sony’s latest camera incorporates a range of the company’s advanced technologies. Sony’s Alpha One camera uses the new 50.1-megapixel full-frame Exmor RS CMOS sensor, which works in conjunction with the improved BIONZ XR processor. Sony says the BIONZ XR processor is eight times more powerful than the BIONZ X processor.

Sony’s new camera captures still images at 30 frames per second (the fastest still image in camera history) and without blackouts. Using Sony’s advanced autofocus system allows the Alpha One to perform up to 120 autofocus calculations per second; That is twice as fast as the a9 II .

Sony says the Alpha One 50.1 megapixel sensor achieves 15 stops of dynamic range and does not limit its ISO capabilities to achieve this capability. At tonight’s event, Sony said that despite the large number of pixels in the Alpha One sensor, the camera is very sensitive to light and shows little noise in the images.

The ISO range of the Sony Alpha One camera is 50 to 102,400

According to Sony, according to the Petapixel news agency , the Alpha One camera achieves more than 15 stops of dynamic range when recording video, and up to 15 stops of dynamic range when taking a normal photo. Sony’s new camera sensor ISO range is reported to be between 100,000 and 32,000; Of course, when capturing normal images, the ISO range expands to 50 to 102,400.

In addition, the Sony Alpha One uses a 0.64 OLED viewfinder with a resolution of approximately 9.44 million dots. The refurbishment rate of the Sony Alfa One OLED Quad-XGA electronic viewfinder is 240 frames per second. Prior to the introduction of the Alpha One, we had not seen any scenarios that would achieve this renovation rate. Sony Alfa One camera is equipped with a silent electronic shutter without vibration.

The Alpha One is the world’s first camera to feature Anti Flicker video recording on both its mechanical and electronic shutters. Sony says its new camera achieves a flash sync speed of one and a half seconds when using an electronic shutter and one hundred and four hundredths of a second when using a mechanical shutter. If you use APS-C crop mode, the flash sync speed will reach one-hundredth of a second. Sony says the Alpha One uses a “dual-axis” mechanism to achieve this goal.
