According to iFixit autopsies on Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones, these products have received even less repair points than the iPhone 13 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series generally looks great as a flagship phone. These high-end handsets feature powerful hardware specifications and are equipped with quality cameras. The S22 Ultra even uses the S-Pen, and Samsung’s best mobile camera is used on this device.

According to AndroidAuthority , the iFixit website, as always, has performed its regular autopsy process on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, and finally announced the repairability score of these flagship phones as three out of 10.

According to iFlexight, the only advantage of the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra was that Samsung used standard Philips screws in them. IFIXIT also found the process of replacing the phones’ batteries difficult, saying repairmen would be faced with a very strong adhesive that covers the perimeter of the case to open the device.

IFIXIT also regretted the lack of a free public service manual for Galaxy S22 series flagships, and criticized the very poor repair process of the display. According to IFIXIT, the use of a glass back body in the base S22 model instead of a more durable plastic body is disappointing.

However, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra score is a long way from devices like the iPhone 13 Pro (6 out of 10) and the Pixel 5a (6 out of 10). If you really want to buy a device that has a high repair rate, you should use products like FairPhone 4.
