Rumor: Xiaomi Mi 5 Pad will be launched with Snapdragon 870

We know that the Chinese company is preparing to introduce at least two tablets, and the information published by GSMArena confirms this. The upgraded model of the series will be called the Pad 5 Pro and will reportedly have the model number M2105K81C and support 5G communications. This model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip. For the standard model, it is intended to be able to connect to the Internet only via Wi-Fi and use the Snapdragon 860 chip.

Previous reports have suggested that the standard model will use a 1200 MediaTek chip, which has a higher processing power than the Snapdragon 860; But Xiaomi plans to use Qualcomm’s chip for its premium tablets. Another hardware specification we know about the Pad 5 Pro is that it has an 11-inch screen; Of course, it is not clear exactly which panel will be used.
