Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 tablet were introduced with powerful chips

After a hiatus of about three years, Xiaomi has finally returned to the Android tablet market with the introduction of the Mi Pad 5 series. According to xda-developers , the Chinese tech giant unveiled three powerful Android tablets, namely the Pad 5, the Pad 5 Pro and the Pad 5 Pro 5G, in China at today’s special event. The design of all three tablets is very attractive, they are equipped with Snapdragon 8 series chip, they support the stylus and they support Dolby Vision capability.

All three Maypad 5 series models are equipped with an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Also, these tablets support Dolby Vision formats and HDR10 standard and have TrueTone features similar to iPhones and iPads.

The TrueTone feature uses two front and rear light sensors to analyze ambient light, and adjusts the white dot of the screen to make it easy to read and display colors accurately in different lighting conditions.

The regular version of the Pad 5 is equipped with a Snapdragon 860 chip, 6 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage memory. The Pro and 5G models, on the other hand, use a more powerful chip, the Snapdragon 870.

Xiaomi has also introduced a set of accessories for the Maypad 5 series; Like a pen and a keyboard. The stylus offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a pressure sensitivity level of 4,096, and has two buttons that can be used to do things like take a photo or quickly open the Mi Note app. The pen is fully charged in eighteen minutes and can be used for eight hours with each charge. It goes without saying that the special keyboard of this tablet also has a two-way protector.

Power is required to work with the Pad 5 Pro with an 8600 mAh battery and also supports 67 watt fast wired charging technology. The regular model battery is 8720 mAh; But it only supports 33 watt fast charge. The Pad 5 Pro is equipped with eight powerful Dolby Atmos speakers; While the regular model has only four speakers. In terms of software, the Maypad 5 series comes with Android 11 and MIUI.
