The V7 Pro Honor tablet has been confirmed to have a 1300T company chip

It is expected to hold an event on August 12 to introduce its latest hardware achievements; An event during which products such as the Honor Magic 3 and the V7 Pro Honor tablet will be introduced. The V7 Pro tablet is important not only for the Chinese brand, but also for MediaTek; Because it is expected to use the new MediaTek chip, the Compnio 1300T.

The possibility of using this chip in the V7 Pro Honor tablet was raised a while ago; But MediaTek and Honor did not confirm or deny it; But  Gizmochina has published a report in which it has confirmed in a post on its official Weibo account that the V7 Pro tablet has the 1300T Companio chip.

Yesterday, MediaTek introduced the Company 1300T; A chip that is architecturally very similar to the 1200 dime and is designed and developed for use in tablets. The Compnio 1300T will be mass-produced based on 6nm lithography. The chip uses an 8-core processor, which consists of 4 cores of Cortex A78 and 4 other cores of Cortex A55. The Mali G77 MC9 is used for the graphics processor of this chip, which offers more processing power compared to the graphics processor of the previous Companio series chip.

The Companio 1300T has a 5G modem that supports 6 GHz band. MediaTek has said that the products equipped with the company’s new chip will be launched in the third quarter of 2021. Due to the imminence of the unveiling time of the V7 Pro tablet, it is expected that the next Honor tablet will be released in the same time frame as what MediaTek has announced.
