A new trademark registered by Samsung in Europe confirms that the Korean company is looking to offer a foldable tablet as one of the Galaxy Z Fold series devices. MSPoweruser  writes that Samsung is looking to launch a foldable device in early 2022 that has three screens and folds twice. Thanks to this design, the device will have a larger screen compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 . This device is expected to fit in the tablet category.

Samsung appears to have registered the trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office on 23 April 2021. The new brand is specifically said to be related to products in the “smartphones and tablets” category.

The new brand is different from the Galaxy Z trademark that Samsung has used for the 2020 Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip models. The letter Z in the brand new apparently refers to the device form. See the image below:

Samsung is currently expected to launch its foldable tablet in the first quarter of 2022. This tablet will probably have a new ultra-narrow glass and will support the touch pen. Maybe at the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 we will see a brief reference to the Samsung foldable tablet.
