Apple recently released an emergency update to address a significant vulnerability found in iOS, iPadOS and  watchOS. According to  ZDNet , the vulnerability fix file is available in iOS 14.4.2, iPadOS 14.4.2 and watchOS 7.3.3. 

The vulnerability in Apple’s operating systems, first discovered by members of Google’s Threat Analysis Team, is affecting Apple’s WebKit browser engine. Apple says the new vulnerability is being actively exploited, which is why the latest updates are urgent. 

Apple has so far provided few details; But such vulnerabilities could be used for malicious actions such as redirecting users to phishing websites. Apparently, the vulnerability is so severe that it forced Apple to release iOS 12.5.2 for its older devices, the iPhone 5s , iPhone 6 , iPhone 6 Plus , iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 , iPad Mini 3 , and the sixth-generation iPod Touch. 

Apple Emergency Update is very important and you should install it right now. On the iPhone and iPad, go to the settings menu and go to General> Software Update. For the Apple Watch, enter the application of this smart watch. 

Apple Emergency Update comes at a time when the company  has recently begun testing one of the most important iOS updates, iOS 14.5. According to  Sun , this version of iOS brings features such as unlocking the phone with the Apple Watch to the iPhone.
