Apple may delay production of Apple MacBook and iPad due to lack of parts

According to an unconfirmed report, the severe shortage of chips in the world has caused a halt in the production of MacBook and iPad, two important Apple products. According to the Sun , some have told Nikkei Asia that the lack of a base for the MacBook and the screen for the iPad has caused Apple to delay part of the production of the two families of the mentioned devices until the second half of this year.

The Nikkei Asia report states that the postponement of production of the MacBook and iPad until the second half of 2021 due to lack of parts will not lead to the depletion of Apple products , but will create problems for the supply chain of Cupertino.

Cupertino residents have repeatedly shown that they can manage supply chain problems well, but the severe shortage of parts around the world has worsened to the point that it has affected even the world’s largest companies such as Apple, Samsung and most automakers. Nikkei Asia writes that given the perceived impact of the shortage of parts on large companies, the impact on small companies is likely to be much greater.
