Apple’s decline in wireless headphone market in 2021 has led to an increase in Samsung’s share
The Corona virus epidemic in 2020 did not stop the wireless headphone industry from expanding, and the same trend continued last year in the Apple-dominated market. Total global sales of true wireless headphones (TWS) continued to grow in 2021, from 230 million to 300 million units, representing a growth of 24%. While this figure is by no means a mediocre number, Counterpoint research had predicted a 33% increase in sales for these products, and now the research company has attributed the reason for the poor market performance to the impact of Covid 19 .
” Apple , which once again topped the list of the world’s top sellers of wireless headphones, is partly to blame for losing market share,” because the AirPad 3 launched later than analysts had expected. These headphones quickly became successful products and achieved remarkable sales figures in the fourth quarter.
