MacRumors has released a new report on the sale of wearable gadgets in the third quarter of 2020, based on data from the Counterpoint statistical community. According to the report, Apple products account  for more than 29% of shipments of fully wireless headphones (TWS). Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based smartwatch  , the Apple Watch, accounted for 28 percent of the smartwatch market.

Counterpoint has divided the wearable market into five segments, among which, smart clothes and wristbands have recorded the highest number of sales; But despite the higher price of Apple products compared to other competitors, the tech giant has continued to grow its sales and its performance is impressive.

Some industry experts believe that the powerful iOS ecosystem, which usually consists of high-income consumers, has been the main driver of Apple’s wearable sales growth. In addition, Samsung’s wearable business is said to have grown significantly.

Apart from Apple, the report said, consumers’ desire to buy affordable and economical products was focused; Half of the top ten best-selling brands offer products in the $ 20- $ 50 price range, and Xiaomi, one of the best-selling brands, ranks second on the Counterpoint list with 13% of the market share. The statistical community expects the wireless headphone industry to grow by 88% to 238 million units this year. Apparently, part of this is due to the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack and the removal of wired headphones from the smartphone case. Liz Lee , a senior Counterpoint analyst, says:
