New Foxconn scandal: $ 5 million bribe to select parts supplier

According to the Wall Street Journal, between 2009 and 2011, five Foxconn bureaucrats received large sums of money from more than 10 component makers. In exchange for a bribe, the component makers made sure that their company was selected for auction. After selecting the component maker, Foxconn’s corrupt employees placed more orders with their trading companies and also settled with them ahead of time.

The name has not yet been named from a specific supplier, and it is unclear whether the parts used in the products have been approved in terms of quality. In any case, Foxconn has stated that it will not cooperate with criminal companies in the future and will not use their parts.
