ReadWrite blog author Selena Larson shares an interesting experience with her readers. One of his friends migrates from iPhone 4S to Galaxy S4 one day. Selena congratulates him with a text message, but he does not receive a reply. Surprisingly, the text messages that are sent in the following days all go unanswered. Eventually, Selena’s friend calls her to arrange a meeting, and at this point, the two parties realize that no text message has been sent to provoke a response.

The fact is that the image system does not notice the user migrating to Android and still sends messages in the same format as before. It is interesting to know that this problem did not happen only for Selena and her friend, and this is one of the important problems that Apple is struggling with. Adam Push, the former editor of LifeHacker, followed up on the issue and received the following answers from Apple:

  • This is a known problem that many users face.
  • Apple’s engineering team is working on the issue but has no idea how to fix it.
  • There is currently no reliable solution. Some users see the problem resolved after a few days and others are still struggling with it.

It is interesting to know that the page related to this issue in the support section of Apple’s site contains more than 400 objections, and the only solution that Apple currently offers is to turn off and on iMessage and separate the phone number from its system; A solution that still does not solve the problem for many users.

Do you think that Apple really does not know how to solve this problem or that it wants to take revenge on users who are not loyal to its products with this technique?
