It’s too early to talk about HTC’s serious return to the market; But the company seems to be looking to change the unsuccessful strategies it has been pursuing in recent years.

The latest flagship phone from HTC was the HTC U12 + , which launched in 2018. HTC’s new flagship phone will focus on virtual reality and augmented reality and will be deeply integrated with HTC’s proprietary Metavers open source platform called Viveverse.
Although HTC sold a large portion of its mobile business to Google in 2018, it continued to sell smartphones independently. Of course, HTC phones have been generally mid-range and low-end in recent years, and have been available in a limited number of markets.
