Apple recently unveiled the most advanced 12.9 -inch iPad Pro equipped with a Liquid Retina XDR display at an event called Spring Load ; But according to the latest reports, the production and supply of displays equipped with mini LED backlight has faced several problems. According to Apple Insider , Apple’s manufacturing partners are having difficulty sourcing the recently introduced 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and the Cupertinos are likely to postpone the launch of their flagship tablet until July.

Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg claims that Apple partners are trying to mass-produce the complex 12.9-inch display; But logistical challenges have delayed this process. Unlike traditional LCD panels, the Liquid Retina XDR groups 10,000 units of mini LED backlighting into 2,500 dimly lit areas to achieve a very high contrast ratio.

According to the Apple Online Store, display supply problems have been compounded by a global shortage of chips to delay the release of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and even that delay may be exacerbated by continued restrictions.
