The ninth-generation low-cost iPad uses a design based on the third-generation iPad Air and will likely be available later this year, according to  MacRumors , citing sources close to China’s supply chain. Based on the published information, the size of the 10.2-inch screen is expected to remain constant; But the current 7.5mm thickness of the iPad will be replaced by a narrower 6.3mm chassis that will be significantly thinner; So the 6.3mm chassis could be a major change in the design of the $ 300 price tag. It is also said that the iPad with a weight loss of 30 grams compared to the 8th generation iPad, will weigh over 460 grams.

According to the report, this device uses the same design language of the past and the touch ID integrated with the Home button and will still have a Lightning port. It is expected that the iPad will be equipped with multilayer screens without gaps called “full laminate” and anti-reflection coating, P3 wide color support and True Tone capability will ensure the visual quality of this product.

According to previous rumors, Apple is expected to launch the new generation iPad Pro in the first half of next year with an improved display and processor, and the new report confirms this. The Japanese website Mac Otakara claims that the design language and screen size of the next generation iPad Pro will not change; But the performance of the processor used in it can be significantly increased. There are also rumors of a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro equipped with a mini LED display and the fifth generation of mobile network (5G); But the report in question does not provide information on this; Therefore, it is possible that this model will be a new category in high-end iPads, which will probably be offered alongside other iPad Pro models.
