In a note to investors, Dan Eves , chief analyst at Woodbush, says that the AirPad 3 will likely be introduced alongside the MacBook Pro. Referring to previous rumors, he points out that the new AirPad has a design similar to the AirPad Pro with smaller stems, and apparently Apple has omitted the ability to remove active noise in order to reduce costs.

According to previous reports, the new AirPads will likely use SiP (System-in-Package) similar to Pro models, in which the H1 chip is responsible for audio processing. This chip also improves the sound quality of the bass. Supply chain studies show that mass production of AirPads has been underway for some time, doubling the likelihood of its introduction this week.

In addition, early last week, an account on the Chinese social network Weibo known as PandaIsBald claimed that the third generation AirPad would be present at Apple’s new event. In fact, this is the first upgrade of standard AirPads since the launch of the second generation AirPod in March 2019. The second-generation AirPad is priced at $ 159 with a wired charging case and $ 199 with a wireless charging case, and the new model will likely be priced in the same range.
