There may be many problems when streaming music; Especially if you use wireless headphones to listen to music. According to GSMArena , Qualcomm intends to  address all such issues with the Snapdragon Sound platform and provide an improved listening experience.

The Snapdragon Sound platform consists of several parts. In relation to smartphones, or’s audio players, Qualcomm has paired Snapdragon 800 series processors with the FastConnect 6900 communication system. In terms of headphones, Qualcomm has developed Bluetooth SoCs known as QCC514x, QCC515x and QCC3056.

Qualcomm says the chips support aptX Adaptive. aptX Adaptive can deliver 24-bit 96 kHz sound with a very low latency of 86 milliseconds. Qualcomm claims that the aptX Adaptive audio latency is 45% less than “a leading competitor”. ص The aptX Voice codec is provided for voice calls and teleconferencing. The platform introduced by Qualcomm also uses Active Noise Cancellation technology.

Qualcomm says the Snapdragon Sound platform is designed so that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals do not interfere; This way, the Snapdragon Sound can play audio smoothly, even in crowded environments. Qualcomm has also simplified the process of syncing the device with headphones; In fact, as soon as you remove the headphones from the case, the synchronization process takes place.

Compare Snapdragon Sound platform with other standards

Xiaomi is the first smartphone maker to use the Snapdragon Sound platform. Qualcomm has also partnered with headphone company Audio Technica. Collaboration with Amazon ensures Snapdragon Sound-based devices have access to high-quality Amazon HD music player-specific content. If you do not have an Amazon Music account, you can listen to the audio file in Qualcomm’s Sandcloud account .

Li Zhang , vice president of mobile and director general of research and development at Xiaomi Hardware, says the company is excited to be the first manufacturer to launch Snapdragon Sound. According to him, Snapdragon Sound can provide a high quality listening experience, low latency and integration, and improve the sound that can be heard in voice calls, video conferencing, playing games and playing music.

“Thanks to Snapdragon Sound, the company can get closer to the programs it has developed to achieve mature voice,” said Kotaro Narihara , general manager of Audio Technica Marketing. Audio Technica is excited to be among the first companies to use Snapdragon Sound.
