Microsoft has introduced headsets with a dedicated Thames button

The latest hardware released by Microsoft encourages users to use the Thames app. The company last month introduced a smart speaker that is compatible with the Thames, and earlier this year, monitors with special Thames buttons were introduced. Among the latest products compatible with Microsoft Thames are three models of headsets.

These headsets are not the first to have a Thames button; But Microsoft intends to make the use of this button a natural thing for all headsets.

Surface Headphones 2 Plus will be suitable for businesses; Just like the Surface Pro 7 Plus introduced for business. According to  Varge , the Surface Headphone 2 Plus has the same specifications as the previous model, and even its battery capacity is the same; But Microsoft has announced that the headphones have received Thames approval and are suitable for working with this software; This points to the new Thames button and USB dongle that came with the headset. This dongle uses light that tells the user that it is in silent mode.

Microsoft only sells the headset to businesses, students and alumni, and it is priced at $ 299.

In addition to the Surface headphones, Microsoft has introduced two other headphones that use the Thames button. After launching the Xbox Wireless Headset last month, these headphones come with similar features for laptops and desktops.

These headsets have very soft caps, and when they are inactive or muffled, their microphone automatically shrinks and moves upwards. On the wire of these headsets, a special controller can be seen to adjust the volume and mute and the Thames button.

These headphones also support Bluetooth; But to use the Thames feature, it must have a USB dongle. Microsoft points out that the headset plays music for up to 50 hours and is suitable for 30 hours of talk time with the Thames. The battery of this product is fully charged in two hours. Microsoft has not yet announced the price of these new headsets, and it is only specified that they will be available in some countries from June.
