If you were expecting Apple and Samsung to sue, you are sorely mistaken. After the court finally announced its verdict a few weeks ago in connection with Apple’s lawsuit against Samsung, now it is reported that the technology giant of Silicon Valley wants to bring the Koreans to trial again.

Earlier this month, the court finally announced its verdict in one of the longest-running cases in history, after much wrangling. Under the ruling, Samsung was ordered to pay $ 119 million in damages to Apple for patent infringement.

But apparently Apple and its lawyers are not satisfied with this vote at all. In their initial lawsuit, they claimed $ 2.2 billion in damages and even planned to receive $ 11,000 from Samsung for each day that the trial continues. Given such figures, the $ 119 million in damages announced by the court is definitely a failure for Apple lawyers.

Apple has now filed a lawsuit and wants to continue the game. “Documents released on Samsung’s internal communications clearly indicate that their strategy was to copy hundreds of iPhone software features, including the Slide to Unlock feature, to this end,” they wrote in the text of their request. “They will be able to launch more competitive products.”

Do you think this will be the end of the story? So far, Samsung has been sued for patent infringement, so why is Apple still insisting on its lawsuit? Are Silicon Valley residents looking for more money or do they want to put more public pressure on Samsung?
