Nvidia seems to have decided to launch its own computing accelerator for the crypto mining business; Because new photos of it have been posted on PC_Shopping forums. This piece apparently uses the same PCB layout seen on the Titan V. The Titan V was the only consumer model to come with a GV100 GPU and real display outputs. This graphics card, called the CMP 100HX, has no output; But it still offers 8-pin dual power connectors.

According to VideoCardz , this card has a passive design; That is, it is not intended for use on a personal computer chassis and must be housed in a server environment or a set of GPUs for extraction. This mining card even has an NV-Link connector that may not be used in the extraction process. What is not clear at this time is whether the mining model offers the same TITAN memory configuration as the 12GB HBM2 memory. Nvidia typically reduces the memory size for the CMP series.

Nvidia’s 2021 quarterly earnings show CMP trading has been declining since the second quarter of 2021; So the fact that Nvidia is reusing its old GPUs for other crypto businesses seems surprising.
